This is me and taylor and josh. We all went ice skating the other day, and we had sooo much fun. Unfortunatly me and josh ended up falling once, but taylor never fell.lol. We were gonna push her down, but we are too nice. lol. Well, that was our day of ice skating!!!

Never Shopped So Much In My Life

Okay so I had a lot of fun at thanksgiving. My family came and I ate a lot of food, blah blah blah.lol. I know I am thankful and all that but I am posting about right now is the day AFTER thanksgiving. Most everyone knows that the day after thanksgiving is like major shopping day, correct?..okay, glad we got that taken care of. Anyways...I knew I had to be a part of this when I found out my sister, aunt, and a few friend's wanted to go. We were already at my aunt's house for our thanksgiving dinner and of course our weekly Grey's Day.lol. So when we got the OK that we could go shopping we decided to sleep there until it was time to leave. We planned to leave at 4! IN THE MORNING! So I slept for about an hour and a half...and then they woke me up saying we were gonna leave. I had a sweatshirt but I don't think I was really prepared for how cold it was gonna be outside. yeah, IT WAS FREEZING!!! I mean so cold I thought I was gonna shiver to death.lol. But we got in the car, shivering and whining..and we WERE gonna do this thing. So our adventure began.lol. The first place we went was gottschalks to get something for my cousins and we had to wait outside. Well, we went to some different stores and they all bought some stuff..so we were having a pretty fun time...it got even better when we got our starbucks....warmed our bodies a little.lol. Cuz I was still freezing.lol. Well, all this time we went out I did not buy one thing. I only had $10 to spend so I was looking very carefully.lol. Well all this time, and its about 8 already so we went back to my house so we could pick up my sister so she could come a little too. We went back out and went to 2 of the same places AGAIN.lol. But I finally found what I wanted to buy, a pair of cute short gray shorts, and some bright bright pink tights to go with them. I was fully satisfied. Now what we realized while we were almost done was that it was about 11, 12ish which meant that we would have been out shopping for EIGHT hours.....thats right....we went shopping for EIGHT HOURS!!! That is like pretty much all the way to insane...not just crazy but all the way insane.lol. So I was pretty excited about being a part of all of that..and now I can say I WENT SHOPPING FOR EIGHT HOURS!!

A Random Note From Freshman Darling

So, I am actually have a fun day today. It was a little stressful cuz I had to work but right now I am having a nice time. I am sitting here at the computer writing this post, listening to "holiday" by greenday, which is one of my favorite songs, and soaking in the beauty of life. I don't know what that means, but I am doing it. lol. I was actually just admiring my long pretty hair. Yeah I know I'm conceited but it's getting so long and I love the color of my hair. I am thinking that I might cut it all short though in March. Cuz then it will be really really long, and I will have been able to enjoy it, and then CHOP IT OFF. Oh sorry, did that sound a bit morbid? lol. Didnt mean to. So, now I'm listening to fall out boy, and I was just thinking about how dull life would be if we did not have music. lol. It is soo much fun. There is a song for everything!!! Well, I am going to go now, and finish HAVING FUN!!

A Note From The Almost Dead Freshman

Hi. So I think that my freshman year is going to literally eat me alive!!!! I am trying to keep up with everything, like assignment, classes, tests, studying, let's just say... OH MY GOOOSSSHH!
I am so crazy and stressed out, trying to keep up, I accidentally sent a math assignment to my EARTH SCIENCE teacher. yeah, like she can grade that for me. What am I thinking?!? I didn't even know I did that until she told me. Well, I am really hoping things are gonna get better...hopefully...i think...OH MAN! And I have always had some pretty good grades, wait a second, my grades have always been REALLY GOOD, like I would have a fit if I got a B, and now all im atleast hoping for is a B, yes I would like straight A's, but that can't happen with a snap of a finger. Yeah it would be totally nice if it could, but then again, I guess it wouldn't be school, or called, WORK, if that could happen. So, as of right now, I am going to have to keep walking down this muddy road that leads to my future, that is..if I ever get there and graduate highscool. geez I hope I graduate highschool...what am I saying, of course I am gonna graduate highschool. It basically is just really really challenging right now. Yup, I said challenging not Hard. (psst, even though it sometimes is hard.lol) But for now, I am gonna keep on working and just keep hoping that things are gonna get better. yup yup yup. :)

From the Freshman

Wow. School has been so challenging lately. Actually ever since I started its been challenging. lol. Did you notice how i said challenging and not hard??? My dad told me to try and do that...smart guy that man is, so i figured I would listen to him... and honestly it has helped!! Anyways, I have been so busy, in the first few weeks I would work in the morning and then go to the campus then come home and work late. I didn't like it at all. Things have sorta slowed down... or so it seems, but even though i still have a lot of work, i am getting the hang of things now. It's about time!!! I actually just completed my first memior. For those of you who do not know what that is, it is a experience that the author has had that is significant to him or her. Anyways, i wrote it, and it was 7 pages long!! I didnt get it done in the say time so i ended up staying up until 1:00 am. yeah i said 1 am!!!! Crazy, but i wanted it done so i did it. Well, i got an A on my first draft now im waiting for my grade for my final draft. So, i have finally gotten to the..." man, i really DO love school" part of my schooling, so im pretty happy..... even though it gets tough sometimes.

A Simple Elegant Rose

I saw this rose and thought it was so beautiful. That is why I chose to write a post about it. Have you ever thought about how much a simple rose can represnt, not to mention the color red? The simple red rose, can represent love, passion, brokeness, tenderness, prefct regret and mistake. A black rose symbold death...or maybe a new light into a broken heart? Just the color red means, blood, love, life, and laughter in my eyes. My favorite color just so happens to be red. I love it because its the color of love and passion, not to mention that it just flat out is a beautiful color! Next time you are feeling down or a little sad about something, go pick up yourself a long stemmed red rose, adn just stare at it and get lost in the beautiful color, and passion...I promise it will bring you back. :)

A Note From the Day Early Freshman

Highschool starts tomorrow. And yeah im excited, but im a little disappointed that im not going to a real highschool. So when people ask me, are you excited that you are in highschool, "i say not really because it doesnt feel any different." Except that the work gets harder every year.lol. When i got on the school website this morning and logged in, the first things that popped up was, "welcome to the first step of your life's journey"...i was all"whoa no pressure there"lol. But, i am excited to start school work again. Summer has been hot and i had a lot of fun, but im ready for it to get cold and for me to be focused on schoolwork again. But i think im trying to take in the last day of summer before i have to start school tomorrow. One thing I am excited about is, MY BIRTHDAY IS IN 6 DAYS!!! I dont think i get t0 have a party this year, since it is ONLY 14, but i think my family might do something. So, now i have to go work on my room some more. peace out.

Last Couple of Days

It has definately been a busy last couple of days.lol. Alyssa is moving into teh dorms next week, and emilee is moving into her room. So, the house is kind of meesy at the present moment. Alyssa has most of her clothes in boxes and suitcases ready tog o. The rest of the first years are not moving in until the day after tomorrow but she wanted to move in a day early. as is andrew.lol. Whom i havent seen since he left for holland. anyways, im really excited to haev my own room, and i am even getting rid of alot of clothes that id otn wear anymore. So, we are all having some fun moving our things around and fixing our rooms and stuff.lol. Tomorrow is going to be a pretty busy day but, it should be fun. Life would be so boring if we didnt make the ebst of everything. peace out.

A Quick Update

So, the year is getting ready to start. I start school on the 4th...and i am really excited. I know typical school girl...excited to start homework, and everyone else is think something is wrong with her.lol. Anyways, kidsfest just anded a few days ago and i had a lot of fun. i got to hangout with marri and chris and rusty. Now that i am home though, i dont really feel like leaving to go out of town anymore. I think im gonna be able to start dance this year, but that is not all im wanting to do, so we are gonna have to wait and see what is gonna work out. dancing is the main part of it though. I do want to learn drums adn guitar but i think i might have to pick one.lol. It is gonna be a tough year, and alot of things will be different. Well, i think im gonna go...im getting pretty tired.

Just a Quick Update

So, nothing all that exciting has happened very recently. I spent the night at my friends house last night. So, on tueday we went to her youth group, and i made a couple new friends. Today we played the wii and watched a movie and i made an omelet (or however u spell it) for the first time. I have been so tired for the whole day though, and we didnt even stay up late at all.

Tonight i had to go help alyssa with the kids too, for bible study.And Tomorrow my family is leaving in the evening to go to where my mom is, in Santa Clara. I think we are staying there for a few days, and then when we come back, the next week, we go on our staff retreat. So, i know that the rest of my summer is going to be pretty busy but right now its going kinda slow and boring.

MISSION WEEK

So, I have been pretty busy lately. I just went to mission week, and i had so much fun. My sister didnt go and so it was just me from fresno. I thought that was kinda cool, cuz i got to hangout with my friends and it was just me and them. I hungout with tulare, and i made new friends from bakersfield and tupman. So, i have made the most friends and had the most fun this mission week, than any other. We did a carnival for maplewood, and a small group did one at some other apartments, but they all ended up at maplewood, so we all had a really fun time there. In my room, it was shelby G., angela marie, and me. And then my suite was kimmy and two really fun guys from bakersfield. Every single night we went to bed after 1 o'clock, but one night we got to go to bed at like 12:30. So, everybody was really tired pretty much everyday. Of course the food was pretty good. There was one day where we ran out of forks so i had to try and eat spaghetti with a knife and a spoon. It was rather sad. I was about to sry because i just wanted the food to get into my mouth.lol. Anyways, our second service was incredible. Dave and Titus spoke, but our altar call was one of the best we have ever had. We all had really big breakthroughs, and im pretty sure we all cried the most in that 20 minutes, than we ever have in our entire lives.lol. So, all in all, I had a FABULOUS time at mission week.

Our Trip In Torrance

So, i have been on a trip for the past 4 days. My family and the summer team came to torrance. The same church we went to last summer. We have done a total of 4 services. We had such a good time, we have done dramas and testimonies and messages and everything else. We all stayed at the Abreu's house. I know all of us inside one average sized house. Guys were down stairs, girls upstairs...my family in the guest room...christa and hunter in karis's room, and 2 girls in karly's room. Well, anyways, we had alot of prep when you put all of the prep times together. It was so cool though, because when we stay at karla's house we are always eating.lol. We would go to service and it would end around 9 i think and we would get home and have a huge feast.lol. On friday, we all wento to the beach after prep time. We had alot of fun. I was a little disappointed that we didnt get to walk around with everybody but we got to do something really cool with joseph and danielle. They took me and my sisters to this little shop, and we each got to pick out our own oyster and watch the lady take out a pearl. of course thats what the cost was for...we each got a genuine pearl. Emilee went first and got a pretty white pearl, that was size 6. Then i went to pick mine out...and we are watching the lady cut it open and stuff and THERE WAS TWO! i had 2, 5 1/2 sized white pearls inside my oyster. Then it was alyssa's turn...she picked hers out and guess what? she got a black pearl! actually it looks more blue but they call it a black pearl. huh, i dont know why.lol. anyways, my dad bought my mom one too, and she got a black pearl as well. We each got them made or put into jewelry. Emilee, Alyssa, and my mom got them made put into necklaces and beacause i had two, i got them made into earrings! They are sooooo pretty. Anyways, we all got to walk around a little more and then we went back to the house. Today we had our last service, and it went soo well. We performed worth i all, adn run the race this morning.(that drama is soooo cheesy.lol.) We all had hot dogs and chips after service and then we all went our seprate ways. Hunter and Christa's car went back to redondo beach...Jessica's car went back home...and my family is staying one more night in san buena ventura, ina hotel here. It's pretty nice. We went swimming in the hotel pool today and the water is so warm.(Heated pool. Amen to that.lol.) And now i have gotten my shower...feel so much better and am sitting here writing this blog post. All in all, besides all of the prep, and draining, and exhaustion...i think we have left with more strength than when we first came. I ♥ Torrance!!

Summerfest was Great!!!

I just got back from sumerfest a couple days ago. I had so much fun! we went to the beach and went shopping and all this stuff.lol.We got to the resort 3 hours early so we were so bored and it was really hot outside. We decided to hang out at the beach for awhile. Now, because we were all in the van and thought we were going to be inside all day, we did not put on sunscreen. So, of course i got burned. My shoulders were all red, which was kind of surprising because i dont usually burn...thats how hot it was.lol. All of our meals were very nice...not at all like the regular not so healthy camp food. And we had to have a meal ticket, or else we didnt get to eat. I HELD ON TO THAT TIGHTLY!lol. The services went pretty well. They didnt seem all long and boring. And the stillness were pretty good. Let's see what else? Oh on saturday we went to cannery row, and went shopping. I bought a really cute ring and a cute postcard with two mice that are dancing under the stars. We were there for awhile, but we had a lot of fun. I also had some really good clam chowder!! When we got back that day we went swimming at the beach, and hung out there for a few hours. Me and Micah were looking for starfish and crabs and stuff by some rocks...and we were getting ready to walk back when he found a sand crab on the ground. So, he was holding it in his hands so that i could try to take a picture of it, and right while i was taking some shots........the sandcrab jumped right from his hand down my shirt!!! i was screaming and shaking out my shirt and jumping up and down like crazy! Micah was laughing so hard...and then sean came up and started laughing too. It was soo funny! Luckily the crab didnt bite me or anything.lol. That night at service was pretty good too. Oh, did i mention that from one place to another takes like a half a mile to get there!(well, not that long) but we got a lot of good exercise while we were there. We all worked out our legs and stuff. By the time we'd get to our room, from anywhere else...we were so tired. Oh on saturday night a girl from bakersfield curled my hair with a baby's curling iron, while me and kayla were hanging out with them. It took longer that an hour! but my hair held for like 4 days. thats the longest its ever held!!! Anyways, we had a lot of fun and we got to hang out with all of our friends form different churches! I can't wait until next summer....i just hope all my friends that weren't there can be with us next time!!!!

Let the Music Carry You

Have you ever noticed how many people own ipods, mP3's and cd players. So many people listen to music. I myself am one of them. You have to be very careful, when it comes to where the music is taking you. Sometimes it can take you away in a good way. Like when something is wrong and you dont feel like listening to people argue or you dont feel like being apart of the horror thats going on. Other times the music will take you away at a not so good moment. Like when something is happening that you need to deal with, but instead of facing the facts, you let your music drift you off into some place more magical then what is going on at the present moment. And most of the time what type of music you are listening to, does affect the situation. say something is going on and you are stuck in the middle of a techno song. All you can do is dance. no matter how sad, or depressing or upsetting the moment is, all you can do is dance. because its techno. Its like a musical crime not to dance or move while listening to a pop song that's been carried on from generation to generation. Now sometimes, we need to just face reality and deal with the problem. Otherwise we may never get through and be stuck in that song forever.But at other moments, its perfectly fine, just to let the music carry you into an unknown world of solitude and wonder.

A Brief Review

Camp meeting is over. and a week of camp went by. I had so much fun. i wasnt a camper or worker so i just kinda hung out with everybody. I wasn't even a camper and i had 2 guys liking me...DRAMA, DRAMA,.....what would camp be without drama???...oh yeah, what its suppose to be.lol.anyways, this week is firework booth week. and last night our mission 15 passenger van plus all of the fireworks were stolen! yup, and this next week we are all leaving for the youth camp we are doing. I think my mom needs me to sing on the worship team. I havent decided yet if im going to.lol.I probably will, just to help her out.lol. I am kind of excited for summerfest. i found out about a week ago that about 10 of my main friends aren't going. So, it's pretty much just gonna be me my sister, jodi, kayla, and josh. thats it. I know a few other people, but all of the poeple we wanted to hang out with are not going. I will probably still end up having a lot of fun but i am still in my bitter moping mood.lol. My cousins are at my house tonight so i am giong tpo go hangout with them. But, other than the summerfest thing...my summer is going pretty great.Today is emilee's birthday and we had her party today. She has grown up so much. She turned 11 today!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMILEE!!!...well, im gonna go now. peace out.

It's Me Again

We have all been very busy lately. because camp meeting starts tomorrow and we all have pretty somewhat important parts in this. We will all be helping out in either the nursey, pre-school, or children's church. This summer has officially begun. Let's start with camp meeting. It is pretty much a bigconference for pastors and other people i guess to come to for services and meetings in the mornings. it takes all week. During this special occasion, i have to endure, people coming up to me saying,"Oh, you're johnny taylor's daughter, i knew you when you were just a baby." when all i can do is smile thinking,"who the heck are you?!". But whatever, im pretty much gonna have to deal with it for the rest of my life. You know sometimes its nice though, even though i dont know them, they know me. I'm known. peculiar thing it is, being known. i think everybody craves being known, whether they know the people or not. But thats another topic for another day. Moving on. where was i, ah yes...camp meeting. At the end of the week we have a youth afterglow. That is what im most excited for! After this busy week is over, you'd think we'd get a break. Ha! breaks? no such thing in our summers...but thats how i like it. Next comes the firework booth. That paticular week, is not all that exciting to me, why you ask? well, i will tell you. I AM NOT EIGHTEEN!!! which means that i have to sit outside in the blazing sun all day. There are some advantages, like eating pizza with everybody, or having sodas non stop, or hanging out with the people that are on breaks. So, i can't complain...(well, i think i can, but im pretty sure i already did.lol). Oh yeah and i dont like fireworks, because of the noise. To watch them thats really fun...i once made a wish on fireworks and it came true. To continue next in line i want to say is a youth camp we are doing in southern california.Which means i have to help a lot. I think it should be fun. Im sure after all this we have more, in fact the next BIG thin after is summerfest which i am really looking forward to. That means i get to see all of my friends! That is not the last of my summer but perhaps, i should save some for another day. peace out.

Okay so I have this cousin and she is the most energetic, cutest little girl ever...and her name is Madisyn. She is the cutest thing ever, Madisyn loves to play dolls, animals, and pretend games as well. I'm pretty sure that when she grows up she wants to be a mermaid, but what five year old doesn't???lol. Madisyn can come up with the cutest nicknames ever, as of right now, my nicknames are, skinny-winny and nanny. The girl actually thinks i know everything! but hey...who wouldn't?!...no...actually it keeps me in line a little bit, to think that whatever I do my little admirer is going to want to do also. Pretty soon the words,"because nanny did it too" are going to start coming out of her mouth... and when they do I want to make sure i am being a positive role model for her. Madisyn is the best 5 year old little girl, cousin...anybody could ever have.

I'm really gonna miss all of my friends from my homeschool group. I am hoping to stay in touch with a specific few, these three being some and also a few more. We have had som much fun together this past year. Especially in my spanish class. I went to Cornerstone Christian for 3 years, and i will not be returning to the homeschool group, a few other of my frineds are leaving as well. Either way i will remember all of those frineds for a long time, even if we don't get to see each other a lot. We have all had quite a few inside jokes too.lol.

My First Slurpee!!!

Hey! So, the other day I had my first 7eleven slurpee...and it was sooo good!! Chad and Sheena came and picked me up at my house and we ended up going to four different 7 elevens because we couldn't find any flavors we wanted. I ended up getting a citrus full throttle slurpee...and it turned out a little liquidy but it tasted fine. It wasnt until after i purchased the drink that chad realized it was energy!!! I started laughing...its not like that was gonna change my decision.lol. I ended up loving the drink and I'm glad chad and sheena were the ones that witnessed the moment!!! ♥

I finally graduated!!!

I finally graduated. Although this does not mean i can fully stop my schoolwork until the fall...atleast i got a graduation. The actual graduation part was pretty...no really boring...but quite a few people came to watch me so that was fun. Not to mention i wasn't alone in the graduation...hannah was there with me too. After it ended i of course had to go back and say hi to everyone...like my family and extended family and friends. I had to take a lot of pictures too, with quite a few people. Oh yeah, and my favorite elementary school teacher came too, Mrs. Grillo. At the end when we all went to say hi to our families and friends, chad was waiting there with a pretty rose. I took it excitedly and gave him hug. And then next thing i knew Darrin comes up and hands me a pineapple, saying happy graduation...all i could do was laugh. I'm pretty sure i will always remember the gift from darrin on my graduation night forever. As well, as the other things poeple got me. I received a lot of cards, which most of them were filled with money.(of course i have been shopping alot!). Andrew got me a card in spanish...that was pretty cool. And sheena bought me a really cute pair of pajamas and slippers. After the graduation pretty much everyone, besides my extended family came over to the house for some cake. Did i mention my parents ordered me a cake with my face on it?! oh yeah. It was pretty exciting not to mention all of the pictures of me layed out on the table. There was so many it could have been as much as a years worth of a paparrazi's pictures of a celebrity.(okay maybe not that much). Anyways, I did have a really good time. Latest acomplishment:......graduating junior high..........Recent goal:.....highschool.

This is me and my best friend, Whitney(top corner). When we were little we were always together, cuz we went to the same church and stuff. She was also the first friend of mine that i slept over with her at her house. Now we don't get to see each other that much, but whenever we do we always have a blast. One of the coolest things is...We have never had a single argument or fight. Whitney is one of the coolest friends ever, cuz she is amazing at gymnastics, sports, and awesome at just being herself. I LOVE YOU WHIT!!!!

Omg. I love little things like that. Those are probably the smallest things ever that do not matter to anyone else that can make me happy. Like waiting a week for those pair of shoes and going back to the store and there is one last pair, and they're your exact size. Or finding a $20 in your purse without you even knowing you had one. And especially automatic paper towel dispensers, automatic sinks,and foam soap!!!

well, i have not been on my blogspot for a while. i just wanted to put on a picture, and say i have been having a lot of fun lately. I love this time of year...its the busy busy time. So, just recently I started to like anime. I love the way it looks, and eve though im just now starting it, its really fun to draw. I just drew this really cute picture of a girl sitting down with her legs crossed and she had wings. I think that my favorite part about anime though are the eyes. All of the eyes are so big and pretty. Although i like this stuff, i still do not, and never will like the show pokemon, or any of the other anime shows we have these days.lol. Anime is so cool cuz it makes there characters look interesting and alive, and like everything is a fantasy, yet it has a realistic feel to it. ANIME ROCKS!!!

It Has Been A Long Tiime

Wow, it has been a while since i have written on this, well, not that long i guess, but 4 me it feels like it.lol. I had a great new eyars eve, and my cousins got to spend a coup,e nights with us during that time. So, we all had a lot of fun together.
That new years eve my family and cousins went over, to a friend of the family's house for some snacks and fellowship, then we had a few poeple come over to our house later that night around,umm (:30. SO, basically without having to go into details on every little thing we did that night, we pretty much just had a lot of fun!!
And yesterday I finally got to go back to school. Me and my friends had started to get bored on break, we wereall so ready to se each other. I think yesterday was the most fun we have ever had all together. And most of the time we just sit around listening to music inside, or stand in a circle talking outside. It does not tak emuch at all to entertain us as long as we're all together. I miss them already!!lol. I got some cute pictures of everyone together too, so ill post them on this right after im done babbling.lol. Oh, yeah and last night, I spent the might with my sister at our aunt's house. We had taco bell for dinner out in the ghetto. and then when we were in bed that night me and my aunt were not tired at all, so we decided to have a chocolate fiesta. Yeah our teeth are so gonna rot.lol. oh well, chocolate is worth the pain.well, im gonna stop talking now, and post some pictures. just kidding, my computer isnt workin so ill pst some pictures later.lol ;)
